We know that we keep on saying that time flies by, and we should really stop, but now someone must be messing with us. Summer 2016 is done and all that is left of 2017 is fall and December(!!). As we do love the sweater weather months we’re not gonna complain, but the pace of life at the moment is insane. Well well, we had a fun summer of fashion and we’ve done a total of 84 posts. Now that’s aaaaa looooot of fashion and beauty. But as with everything, it’s easy to miss and it’s easy to forget. So here are the best posts of summer 2016:

A Work In Progress

We all know that one should always be a work in progress (not that we fully live after it, but you know, it sounds good to say). However, this is highly applicable to The Fashion Folks as well. We did mention that some major changes will be happening on TFF now in August, and a part of the change is about you. You as in the reader who can do anything in the world right now but is reading this sentence instead. You as in the reader who keeps coming back day after day, week after week and share our love for all that comes with fashion and beauty (well, hello there gorgeous!).

As The Fashion Folks wouldn’t be anything without you readers we’d love to hear your feedback on the posts we do. As you are the ones that actually read our posts, there is no doubt about it that you should have your say in them as well! So we’d be so happy if you’d like to answer our poll below on which posts you like the most! And if you want to add something, wish a post or just talk, feel free to join us in the comment section!

AND July has come to an end and we don’t know if we should cry, sigh or just ask why. Time is flying by and we have no idea how another month of fashion and beauty obessessing just came to an end. But boy did we have fun this month, and with fall fashion, fashion weeks and some major changes on TFF coming up, we’re too excited for the weeks to come. But enough with the rambling, folks, here are some of our most beloved and best posts of July!

But did you catch our/my BTS-post on 5 random facts about me? It was terrifying, but so much fun for a change !

We reviewed no less than three haute couture collections; Dior, Giambattista Valli and Alberta Ferretti.
Still dreaming about the fluffiness of those Valli gowns, just sayin’

Some tips on strobing and some handy tips on different ways to use a bronzer. And while we’re at it, we also mentioned the bronzed makeup look as one of three easy looks for summer!

We nailed the history of the Victorian Beauty Life (if we may say so), and also simplified the story behind the wrap dress. And most recently, the lovely evening dresses of the 1930’s got their fair share!

Fun in the sun? We’ll don’t forget to tend a bit extra for you skin or for you hair. Skincare, hair care and beauty care that is!

And that’s sort of a wrap on July folks, you find all the posts here! We’ve already used the word fun six times in this post so we might just call it a day (or a post that is).
