The ombre lips are great both with brighter lipsticks such as red, pink and orange and darker lipsticks such as purple, burgundy and wine red. This means that the trend is both favorable during the summer months as well as fall. We don’t know about you guys but a purple and burgundy combo or a orange and pink one is equally appealing and flattering!

How to style the Ombre Lips Trend

As the trend is quite the statement, playing down other parts or your makeup is favorable. As you normally do when going for a statement lipstick look, you keep the eyemakeup more neutral as well as blush or bronzer. As you don’t want your makeup look to outdo itself, the key here is to create a balance between the areas. If you do want to use both heavy eye makeup and go for an ombre look, try to do one in more subtle lipstick colors, perhaps dusty rose and beige?
