Summer Hairdos

If there’s one season where hairdos are not only chic but also helpful it’s during the summer. Hot temperatures and hair down is usually a messy and sweaty combo! Folks? Here’s our summer hairdos and the best part of it is that they’re all easy to do!

Top knot bun

An old but gold hairdo that works whenever. Both functional, practical and chic. For a proper bun, use a hairdonut (or a sock). For a messy bun, tie your hair into a ponytail. Take the hair in the ponytail and twist it around the root of the ponytail. Secure with bobby pins and finish with dragging some hair sections loose.

Side braid

Another classic go-to that’s kind of everybody’s choice for the summer. And it’s not harder than picking a braid style you love and braid it sideways. Leave your fringe alone to give a more boho look. Pro-tip is to drag some hair sections loose after you’re done to create a more thick look.

Braided low bun

A preppy hairdo that is especially favorable for midpart hair styles. Do a tight low braid and twist the braid around the root of it. Secure with bobby pins or a see-through tofs.

Scarf do

Perhaps more of a chic accessory than a hairdo, but tieing a scarf around your head and releasing your neck from the hair is worth it. Do a knot or a bow with the two ends and have a nice hair accessory as well.

Braided Ponytail

Or why not a classic ponytail but a braided one? A high ponytail that’s braided is so chic and an easy way to get your hair out of the way. Your neck will be free from sticky hair and you can focus on enjoying summer rather than dealing with you hair.

Folks, what are your favorite summer hairdos?

  2. My hair is quite long and difficult to style, although these are all fab ideas and I’d be tempted to try them. 🙂 I think that a braided ponytail especially looks so beautiful!

  3. These are all such great hairstyle ideas for summer, when most often my hair doesn’t cooperate with me when left out, haha! My go-to is usually a top knot and I’ve been experimenting with a side braid at the gym, but I’ll have to up my game and do something a bit more fancier to make it work for a night out, like the first one you showed in the collage! Thanks so much for sharing and I hope you have an amazing week ahead!

    • That’s lovely to experiment with hairdos, we often tend to get comfortable with the ones we know and miss out the ones that we really could work with day as night! Have a lovely weekend love! Xx

    • It’s kind of harder to pull of than you’d imagine. But first adding some volume in your hair by brushing it carefully “in the wrong direction” and then separate the upper half and turn it into a bun usually works! Xx

  4. Loving all the hair inspo in this post! I definitely need to expiriment more with my hair. I seem to mostly wear it down with soft waves. I really like the half updo with the low bun that you shared. A top knot is probably my easiest go-to summer do.

  5. Aw, It appears I copied my signature along with another comment. Well, that’s embarrassing. Feel free to delete or edit as you see fit. 🙂

  6. Except the scarf do, I pretty much do the rest. I get bored of one style quite easily so I keep changing my hairdo. How beautiful the braids look!
