We know that makeup is about beauty. But we don’t often consider makeup products as beautiful, until now that is! The Kailijumei lipstick is kind of a thing!
Trendy lipstick
If you been near internet or social media these past weeks, you’ve probably already stumbled upon the Kailijumei lipstick. The Kailijumei lipstick are created by the makeup company Kailijumei Cosmetics. They’re sold out at the moment and constantly out of stock, so the struggle is real. As for the animal ethic, there have been some debate wheter they are cruelty-free or not. But in their own words, they’ve stated several times on their Instagram that they don’t test on animals.

So what is the buzz? Well, the lipsticks are transparent with a slight color touch, consisting of a flower and gold flakes. As if that’s not enough, the lipstick also changes color depending on body heat! We haven’t tried it ourselves and can’t give a proper review, but depending on pictures of users the lipstick looks more like a hybrid of a lipgloss and lipstick. With a sheer cover and a glossy tone, it might even go for a highly pigmented lipgloss with a more solid texture. Naturally we can’t debate whether the product is more pretty than useful, but nevertheless is it dreamy to look at and kind of like a fairytale. Something worthy of a beauty lover or perhaps even a decorater!

I’ve never heard of this brand or lipstick before, which is odd because I follow Huda Beauty and haven’t seen her post anything about it. Then again, she may have, since she posts frequently and I just may have missed it. Anyway, these are SO beautiful and remind me of the roll on glosses I had in every color and scent in the ’90s!
