Aaaaand it’s time for another trend alert! Today it’s all about lime green 2021. I’d like to start by pointing out that lime green and neon green is kind of the same thing, so I’ve included pictures for both. Lime green has however a more yellow tone to it, but the same styling rules apply. Anyway, lime green is a trendy color 2021 and here’s how to style it. Find more trend alerts here:
Lime Green 2021
So lime green 2021 is all about that intense, vibrant, vibe. The lime green, as mentioned above, is a mix of a yellow and a green. It’s often more about the color of the lime’s pulp than the peel, although both shades are accepted as lime green. As for 2021, the lime green is often styled as a more preppy version, but also activewear. It’s often done in silky materials, or casual styles such as hoodies and joggers. The lime green is also popular as accessories, especially bags and nails.
How To Style It
I think lime green is a refreshing color. It’s superb to style with basics such as white and grey. It can also work with beige, but it’s often better to let the beige be the clothing piece and lime green the accessory. You can also pair lime green with neutrals such as the leopard pattern and denim blue. It can work with a classic black leather, but beware that the contrast is distinct. I also like the idea of pairing lime green with other neon colors, it’s an energetic combination. You can also do lime green with a darker green, like emerald or forest green. It will neutralize the lime green! Same goes for brighter shades of green, although the lime green will become a more of a statement.
And some street style! I love the combo of white, green and black in the first outfit. Such a subtle but genius print mix too. The different shades of green in the second outfit is also a good one. I love how the trench coat is a mix of the mint blue accessories and the lime green top and skirt. The snake print in the third outfit is also a gem. Chic and simple to pair it with an all black outfit. Love how the bag is matching the dress in the fourth outfit. Simple as that when working prints! Love the idea of doing a lime green with orange, as done in the last pic. Such a vibrant combo for summer!
