Don’t you also have some specific styles of clothing that you can’t get enough of? Maybe, you just love a specific combination of material, color, print and texture. Sometimes it’s more specific, and sometimes it’s more vague. The thing in common though, is that you can’t get enough of that specific combination and you kind of accept all versions there is. I thought I’d share three of my favorites today. Just looove these styles.
My Fashion Favorites
Knitted Sweaters in a Pattern
I just adore patterned sweaters. Oh gosh. I own a few, both new and second hand; and I just love the instant fashion statement. They work so well with a pair of jeans or leather leggings. I also like to enhance the colors/pattern by adding accessories or clothing pieces in the same or similar colors. Anyway, I’m so in love with this specific style of clothing. It doesn’t matter if the motif is floral, animal or just artsy: gimme all of them!
Voluminous Mini Dresses
I’m also a big fan of voluminous mini dresses. I don’t own too many dresses of this style, but something I need to work on. I love the intense voluminous silhouette that Giambattista Valli has popularized. It’s just so intense and fashionable, but the balance of fabric and cropped length. I do think it works the best when done in an A-line silhouette and sometimes with a hint of empire. Love the idea of working this style with leather OTK boots. Or why not layered over pants?
Lastly, leather boots are something that rarely gets wrong in my opinion. Just a simple heel, a leather material and a medium shaft – and we’re good to go. I love to work my leather boots with leather pants, 70s jeans or with any maxi length. I think Chelsea boots are really fashionable too and definitely a wardrobe staple. And yes, I’m talking about black leather boots. Lately, I’ve been enjoying when the heel has some sort of statement. Either in color, pattern or just overall style.
