Folks! First of all, thank you for the sweet comments on my Christmas post, next year I’ll make sure that my Christmas selfie will be more, ehrm, professional – lol! Anyways, I hope you had a lovely weekend and got yourself some proper rest. As there’s a new year on Sunday, there ought to be a lot of summaries and sneak-peaks on the new year this week. I love these kinds of posts though, so hope you don’t mind either!

  1. I agree with you completely, love! 2016 was such a bumpy year, especially tragic for the world in general. However, it was definitely a great year for blogging! It’s been amazing seeing you grow so much, and I can’t wait to see what else you have in store for us in 2017. 🙂 <3 xoxo

  3. I, personally, adored your behind the scenes posts – so much fun to learn more about the blogger!

P.S. I’m trying to avoid the after-Christmas sales as well – so far I’ve been almost 100% successful! 😛

  4. Babe! I just peeped your Christmas post (so I could see your selfie =P) and you are absolutely stunning! You definitely need to do more of your on your blog next year (that’s my personal request lol!). Okay now on to this post, I had no idea that coconut oil could improve your eyebrows like that! I definitely have issues with uneven hair growth and have to rely on drawing or penciling in the gaps and it’s super irritating! I don’t want to go the permanent route and tatoo my eyebrows like I’ve seen some people do because I’m worried that the eyebrow style will change again (as it always does). Anyways, gone slightly off topic. Hope you had an amazing Christmas and wishing you a Happy New Years too!

    1. Hahah gosh, people keep on requesting this so it’s probably a question of when I’ll do more of me and not if! And thank you btw for the kind words. I highly recommend to do coconut oil, it really worked for me and it’s as natural as it gets. Have a lovely 2017 doll! Xx

  5. Mia, it’s been an absolute pleasure getting to know you through your blog and social media. Your blog is one of my favorites for many reasons; you have such a unique perspective that reads both editorial, yet maintains that blog/personal voice. I’ve said this to you many times, but I honestly do believe this site/publication will be a go-to source for us millennials for those reasons. I wish you nothing but the absolute best and much success in 2017, it’s more than well deserved. You can see the amount of time, work, dedication and passion you put into every article you share. I’m glad we’ve met and I look forward to getting to know you even more! Cheers to a great 2016 for The Fashion Folks and an even better one to come in 2017!

    1. Seriously though Jalisa? Thank you so so much for all the love and support you’ve given me the past year, it’s been a great dose of egoboost, but also a great depth of gratefulness. You’re so so kind and you know how much I admire your work in return. All the love for 2017! Xx
