5 Random Facts

Folks, I know I keep a low profile on the internet. The site is not about me after all but about the culture, societal and artsy sides of fashion and beauty. But every now and then I like to pop up and show up and this time for 5 random facts about me. Five fashion and beauty related facts you know you want to know (or not at all actually).Β

I’ve studied both fashion and beauty history with focus on the last 500 years in the Western world.

Fashion Designers5 random facts

Some of my favorites are Alexander Wang, Mary Katrantzou, Giambattista Valli and Alexander McQueen

Makeup Go-To

How many makeup looks I try, I always go back to eyeliner and long lashes. Classic but fantastic!

Job Dreams

When I was 7 I wanted to be a fashion designer, then stylist and then fashion journalist. And now I’m dealing with kind of everything at once.

Beauty Icon

If you couldn’t tell, Audrey Hepburn is my leading beauty icon. As much as obsessed with her eyebrows as with her doe eyes!

Folks! Don’t leave me hangning, share a random fact about yourself and fashion or beauty in the comments! Xx /Mia

  1. When I was a kid, I wanted to be a designer/stylist then changed to interior designer and ended up being a mechanical engineer! My makeup to-go is the same, eyeliner is a staple of my makeup bag!

  4. Love the post that lets us learn more about the writers! πŸ™‚ I love Giambattista Valli & the late Alexander McQueen. My first pair of shoes from Giambattista Valli, I bought about 8 years ago. They might’ve been my first pair of real designer shoes, but I coveted them and they’re in a box at my family home.
I still wear my McQ tee to this day and it was purchased in Paris over 5 years ago. I prefer the Alexander McQueen label, but I’d probably have to sell an arm and a leg. lol

    1. That’s lovely! Sounds so lovely with the Valli shoes, I’m so jealous haha! And same fot th McQ tee, gosh they’re pretty and simple! One day we’ll proably have stopped dreaming about them and begun wearing on a daily basis, haha too expensive! Xx
